Un invierno poco dispuesto de irse...

I could not better describe the weather in Buenos Aires these days. It should be warm, or better said warmer than it is the past few days. I took note of the phrase while I was reading Pàgina 12 at Coffee Town today. A Winter that does not seem to be wanting to go away. And at the same time temperatures in Brussels hit a record high for a November 1st: 20,8° C.
I am about to head out for ice cream just around the corner before retrieving to bed. I am so tired since I have not at all slept well. Like Winter my jet lag does not seem to be willing to go away.
If I stick behind my computer, I will once again, not sleep at all. The next page on my website can wait.
I could not go to sleep without mentioning the umbrella store I stumbled upon this morning. I was so frustrated ater having had to leave AFIP without my paperwork done. Now they send me to immigrations again for my temporary residence. Can just 1 person tell me loud and clear what the hell needs to be done. I felt so desperate and could have cried, had it not been for walking on a busy street.
Then I saw this umbrella store, one in a kind and one can only find here. I have none packed and could use one. I walk inside to feel like a 6-year old in a sweets store. I buy one which comes nicely packed in a recycled, perfectly fitting paper bag. I am so proud and feel like I just bought a precious diamond stone. Wish there were more 'tourists' my style so this strange piece in danger of extinction could survive.
On a negative note about a serious truck accident on the E19, - it must be 3 o'clock in the morning , - I quit. Ice cream now, then a shower, and then hopefully a night's full of sleep !
