Flax, what linen is made of, is a natural product that does not require irrigation during growth, and needs little or no chemical treatment. All parts of the plant are used, so there is no waste. Linen fabric is 100% biodegradable and recyclable.

With an eye on water preservation,
our guests are kindly asked to indicate us when they want towels changed.
NO PLASTIC WASTE We do not serve bottled water. As Buenos Aires tap water is clean and tasty, the water which you will drink will not have travelled for miles and no plastic or glass bottles will be wasted.
For the same reason, we urge our guests NOT to bring plastic bottles into the hotel and to think twice before buying one in the city.
RECYCLED FURNITURE
Mostt of the furniture you will find in the hotel has led a previous life and/or has been made ( we don't like the word 'manufactured ') with recycled materials
i.e. OSCAR
NON-SMOKING POLICY etc.
Smoking is not allowed in the hotel and we kindly urge our guests to sort their waste in order to facilitate recycling.
If you do not need a paper receipt, please let us know. We’ll be happy to mail you one. So THINK BEFORE WE PRINT. So do we. Our business cards our printed on recycled paper and we try to keep all printed marketing material to a strict minimum.
We welcome all tips & advise as to further lower our ecological foot print.
